In March, we will be focusing on COMEDY structures, both in Episodics and in Features. We will focus on not only the technical language of comedy writing but how to translate those terms into comedic timing and individual choices. We will also talk about the demands of the actor when auditioning for a role in a episodic comedy and a comedic role in a FEATURE.

All work is emailed to parents with notes after day one as well as day two. THIS IS A FOUNDATION CLASS BUT ALSO SERVES WELL AS A REVIEW FOR THOSE WHO ARE A BIT RUSTY IN AUDITION TECHNIQUE/ON-CAMERA WORK.

CD comes in on day 2 to see the actors tell their stories (sides used from class).

This is a great class to prepare for auditions and acquire a better understanding of the demands of comedic sides.
